RANDOM is typically 3 days long, and is usually co-located with its sibling conference APPROX.

Publication policy

The conference proceedings for 2019-2023 will be published in the open access venue:
Leibniz International Proceedings in Informatics (LIPIcs).

The proceedings for most past conferences can be found in the websites of past conferences that are listed here.

Policy regarding sexual misconduct

RANDOM is committed to an inclusive conference experience, respectful of all participants, and free from any discrimination or harassment, including unwelcome advances or propositions of an intimate nature, particularly when coming from a more senior researcher to a less senior one.  All RANDOM attendees are expected to behave accordingly.  Additionally, if you experience or witness harassment or discriminatory behavior at the conference, we encourage you to report this promptly to PC Chair, Local Arrangements Chair, or to any RANDOM Steering Committee member.

Attendance policy

At least one author of each accepted paper should attend the conference in person to present the work. An exception to this policy may be granted in case of unavoidable visa issues, in which case the paper will still be included in the proceedings, and a recorded talk video will be made available online, but the paper will not be given a presentation slot at the in-person event. Therefore, please make sure to make travel arrangements well in advance to attend the conference, especially if you need a visa for entering the conference venue.
